Review Appraiser

Summary The Review Appraiser position is located in the Veterans Benefit Administration, Loan Guaranty, Construction and Valuation Value Stream. The Review Appraiser is responsible for oversight of an assigned multi-state jurisdiction and will perform a full range of construction and valuation matters affecting the VA Loan Guaranty Program. Responsibilities Specific duties include: Serves as a technical expert who has knowledge of Uniform Standard of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), Uniform Appraisal Dataset (UAD), and skill in the application of principals, practices, and techniques of appraisals. Performs a full range of appraisal review processes and acts as primary VA liaison to ensure appraisers, lenders, and servicers are properly administering VA policies and procedures.
