Rigger

Purpose of the Job

The Rigger at Colas Rail Philippines Inc. is responsible for the safe and efficient handling, movement, and positioning of heavy materials and equipment used in rail construction and maintenance projects. This role ensures all lifting operations comply with safety regulations and project requirements, supporting the successful execution of infrastructure works. The Rigger works closely with crane operators, engineers, and site supervisors to facilitate the proper setup and securing of loads, minimizing risks and ensuring smooth site operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, inspect, and maintain rigging equipment such as ropes, cables, chains, slings, and shackles to ensure safety and reliability.
• Secure loads for lifting, moving, and positioning using cranes or hoisting equipment, following approved rigging plans and safety protocols.
