We're on the lookout for a Rigger to provide a specialist service to the customer on rigging and inspection of lifting equipment on a daily basis and shift basis throughout the mill according to safe engineering standards.

As a Rigger you will be responsible for:

•    Write quality control procedures for rigging tasks.
•    Liaise with customer on rigging requirements and advise (customer plant engineers, foremen, production personnel.
•    Contact suppliers and outside firms pertaining to lifting equipment to get the best service and quality at all times.
•    Attend meetings and enquiries as part of a service to the mill
•    Instruct and control personnel who are functionally assigned as part of a rigging team or contractors during shut in area of responsibility.
•    Drive mobile cranes and machinery in the absence of crane drivers or when the job requires of them to do so.
