We're on the lookout for a Rigger to provide a specialist service to the customer on rigging and inspection of lifting equipment on a daily basis and shift basis throughout the mill according to safe engineering standards.
As a Rigger You Will Be Responsible For
Write quality control procedures for rigging tasks.
Liaise with customer on rigging requirements and advise (customer plant engineers, foremen, production personnel.
Contact suppliers and outside firms pertaining to lifting equipment to get the best service and quality at all times.
Attend meetings and enquiries as part of a service to the mill
Instruct and control personnel who are functionally assigned as part of a rigging team or contractors during shut in area of responsibility.
Drive mobile cranes and machinery in the absence of crane drivers or when the job requires of them to do so.
