RIGGING SUPERVISOR

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate work methods when necessary and from time to time actually perform critical tasks which his subordinate craftsman / workers don’t have the skill or experience to perform. Makes sketches for instructional purposes.
• Participate in the training and development of subordinates.
• Supervise work progress safeguard against waste of materials and man-hours. Supervisor will monitor attendance and punctuality of his crew.
• Ensure that his subordinates are properly equipped, and equipment issued or allocated is correctly used and maintained in a safe and effective manner.
• Responsible for maintaining safety of site for both his crew and others needing access to it.
• Investigate any grievances of his subordinates in order to try to determine the real cause of difficulties and handling them appropriately.
