**Job Description**

**UW Medical Center – Montlake’ Roosevelt PACU** has an outstanding opportunity for a **full time (100% FTE, 40 hours per week), day shift ASSISTANT NURSE MANAGER (Registered Nurse 3)** to join the Roosevelt PACU team. The Assistant Nurse Manager will provide direct nursing care, train and manage staff, spearhead quality improvement initiatives, and ensure safe patient care practices.

**SCHEDULE:**
40 hours per week

Day Shift

**RESPONSIBILITIES:**

 Establishes and maintains credibility as a leader of day-to-day operations

 Oversees staffing

 Provides leadership for clinical and administrative functions

 Develops, coordinates, and maintains various work processes that ensure successful department function

 Promotes effective communication among staff and patients

 Identifies staff and resource problems and takes necessary steps toward problem resolutions
