Summary:
Provides competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards. Reporting and accountable to the Nurse Manager/Director, the Clinical Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting.

**4th Floor Surgical/Orthopedics/Joint Center Description**

UNC Johnston Fourth floor Surgical unit is a 33 private bed postoperative unit. We have a Joint Center on one of our wings for our Total Joint Patients. Fourth floor is a fast past unit that provides care to postoperative patients that have had Total Joint and other Orthopedic, Urology, Gynecology, General and Vascular surgical surgeries.
