RN Role Overview

The RN serves as a consistent care coordinator throughout the continuum of care for patients entering or within our health system. Assesses the physical, psychological, and social needs of the patient, and improves the care experience for the patient and their family. Responsible for the nursing care of patients in a clinical/office setting. Coordinates communication with providers on behalf of the patient.
