Job Description
To support the overall mission of the Adult Family Care (AFC) program and implement its philosophy and goals so that all levels of the organization, its activities, programs and plans recognize and utilize strategies to promote personal well-being for each member served
QUALIFICATIONS: Must be fully licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Massachusetts Board of Nursing and have at least two years experience in the direct care of the elderly or disabled. Ready access to an automobile and a valid driver’s license also required.
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
Receive and maintain current certification in First Aid, CPR and BFAIR Human Rights Training, 10 hours professional development annually.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Treat each individual, co-worker, supervisor and others with the respect and dignity due every human being, and adhere to the Department Developmental Services (DDS) Human Rights Standards and the Disabled Persons Protection Commission’s (DP...
