With more than 75 years of combined psychiatric experience, Peninsula provides inpatient and outpatient care for children, adolescents, and adults. The facility is located near the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and features a scenic lakeside inpatient property on Fort Loudon Lake.

Unit E – Woman's Thought

The Women’s Unit is a 12‑bed inpatient unit serving female adult patients with acute psychiatric symptoms such as depression, anxiety, and disordered thoughts. Staff work 12‑hour shifts and rotate weekends and holidays.
