Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 5 Years License: Drivers License Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Required Travel Experience: At least 1+ Year of Travel - Charge and/or Precepting Experience Required Description: The unit has a total of 20 beds, all private rooms. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5 for telemetry patients and 1:3-4 for stepdown patients. The average number of admissions and discharges can vary significantly. Common patient diagnoses include telemetry, post catheterization, and medical/surgical with telemetry monitoring needs. Required certifications include Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale.
