Description


The role of a Respite Nurse is to offer one-on-one time between a child and licensed nurse within the family’s home or community. Respite care is designed to give families a break from the day-to-day care involved in raising a child with special healthcare needs. Child Serve’s respite service allows parents to attend events for their other children, schedule appointments for themselves, or simply take time to recharge.
Schedule
+ Primarily afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Can be regularly scheduled or as needed.

+ Located in Ames, Nevada, or Slater

+ Interact with the child and participate in fun activities.

+ Complete electronic documentation and paper MARS.
