Road Controller

Responsibilities

• Track and monitor vehicles, providing route guidance and updates
• Communicate with drivers and coordinate cross-border operations and documentation
• Respond to incidents, breakdowns, delays, and emergencies
• Maintain accurate trip, driver, and vehicle records
• Liaise with clients, customs agents, and internal departments
• Report delays, standing trucks, and operational issues
• Report directly to the Operations Manager / HOD

Requirements:

• Grade 12 with 2–5 years' experience in a Road Controller or similar transport role
• Proven cross-border (SADC) experience with strong knowledge of border procedures and documentation
• Proficient in fleet tracking systems, transport management systems, and computer literacy
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills, with a valid driver's license
