Road transport logistics intern — route planning & ops

We are seeking a motivated Transport Intern to support the Transport and Logistics team with daily coordination, administration, and compliance activities. This role offers hands‑on exposure to transport operations, route planning, and fleet management within a fast‑paced environment.

Key Performance Areas Assist with daily route planning and load scheduling under supervision Capture and update trip information including pick‑ups, deliveries, ETAs and PODs Communicate with drivers regarding departures, delays, incidents, and delivery confirmations Prepare and maintain transport documentation such as delivery notes, trip sheets and invoices Monitor fleet utilisation and support reporting on KPIs and operational performance Support compliance processes including permits, vehicle files and SOP adherence Escalate service issues, safety risks, and customer complaints to supervisors Provide general administrative support to the Transport/Logistics Skills & Knowledge Diploma in Trans...
