The Opportunity:

The City of Red Deer is currently recruiting for a temporary Roads Labour Foreperson 1 - Signs. This position is responsible for receiving typical job assignments and tasks, assigning appropriate staffing, resources, and materials for everyday signage maintenance and traffic control operations, within time schedules and required specifications and standards. Supervise crewmembers and ensure that all safety precautions are followed.

• Oversees training and instruction program for Sign Crew staff and ensures relevant safety policies and practices are implemented and followed.
• Provides information and oversight on general operating material supply, equipment maintenance, and ensures proper record keeping for in-field operations.
