Summary

The Coffee Roasting Assistant will work with the Roasting team to ensure that production needs are met consistently and without loss of product, time or profitability. The Ideal candidate is process oriented, pays great attention to detail and has a passion for high quality great tasting coffee. 2-2-3 12 hour Schedule: B Shift 6 am - 6:30 pm

Responsibilities

Assist the Roasting team in receiving and staging green (unroasted) coffee beans Participate in blending and weighing coffee Oversee and track inventory of green coffee beans, bags and other production materials Develop necessary product knowledge (coffee names, bag weights, etc.) Gain experience operating coffee grinders, green coffee bean loaders and coffee roasters Perform daily maintenance for optimum machine capability on coffee roasters and other roasting accessories Occasionally participate in weekend cleaning...
