Robotics Engineer

Overview

Senior Delivery Consultant @ Recann | IT Recruitment, Talent Sourcing. We are looking for an experienced Robotics Engineer with hands-on experience in ABB robotic systems, particularly IRC5 controllers and RobotStudio, to contribute to innovative industrial automation projects across the UK.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using ABB robots (primarily IRC5-based systems).
• Oversee on-site installation, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of robotic cells.
• Program, simulate, and refine robotic operations using ABB RobotStudio.
• Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration.
• Integrate robots with PLCs, vision systems, sensors, and wider automation equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and industry regulations at all times.
• Produce and maintain clear, accurate technical documentation. <...
