Robotics Integration Engineer x1 – Focus: Robotic Arms & PLC Control

Develop and support interfaces for robotic arms and gantry robots on the production floor (e.g. robots handling drive components or transferring units between stations). Integrate these robots with MES and other control systems such that robotic actions (pick, place, assemble, etc.) are triggered by software commands and reported to systems in real time. Work with PLC/SCADA systems that control conveyors, sorters, turn tables, shuttles, and other auxiliary devices; implement middleware or IoT gateways to bridge PLC signals with the factory IT layer. For example, ensure that when a robot places a unit on a conveyor, the PLC detects it and the MES is immediately updated with the unit’s location.

Must Have Skills
