Rodman

The Rodman performs duties related to Construction Surveying under the supervision of the Instrument Man, Survey Engineer or the Survey Manager. The Rodman shall be responsible for the following:

1. Carrying and setting up necessary survey equipment on the project site.

2. Ensuring survey equipment is properly cared for and in good working condition.

3. Provides field assistance such as holding the prism or RTK at designated points to allow observation and measurement.

4. Adhering to the survey plan and instructions provided by his/her Immediate Supervisor.

5. Must understand and interpret measurements.

6. Familiarity with basic surveying equipment like the prism pole and level rod.

7. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks like clearing vegetation, clearing brush, trees, or other obstacles from the survey line to ensure clear sightli...
