Room Attendant

Requirements:

BS HRM , AAHRM or its equivalent

Responsibilities:

Responsible for cleaning and servicing guest rooms in order to provide a comfortable and a pleasant experience for guests. A room attendant promotes a positive image of the property to guests and must therefore respond to guest queries politely and knowledgeably.

-Ensures that all assigned rooms are efficiently cleaned in keeping with the hotel's standards

• Strips and remakes beds with fresh linens, dust all furniture and fixtures

• Ensures all lost property items left in the guest rooms are recorded and handed in to the supervisor and department head

• Restocks room supplies with amenities provided by the hotel

• Promptly reports safety hazards and concerns to the supervisor or department head

-Responds to guest queries, requests and complaints in a prompt and courteous manner.
