RPG Developer

Technologies / Platforms: RPG, ILE RPG, CL, IBM i, AS400, DB2, SQL, DDS
Skills and Experiences:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related technical field.
3 years experience developing RPG applications on IBM i.
Strong hands-on experience with RPG IV / ILE RPG programming.
Proficiency in CL programming and batch job scheduling on AS400.
Experience designing, querying, and maintaining DB2 databases.
Ability to debug, test, and optimize RPG programs efficiently.
Experience maintaining legacy IBM i / AS400 production systems.
Knowledge of DDS for display files and printer file development.
Experience integrating IBM i systems with modern applications.
Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication with technical teams.
Preferred (Nice to Have Only)
Experience with IBM i modernization projects or API integration.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and IBM i source control tools.
