REPORTS TO
Section Manager or any other person appointed to supervise him/her from time to time.
Primary Position Purpose
This position is responsible for the for handling geotechnical investigations for infrastructure projects and provide recommendations that guide the project development.
Key Responsibilities
Geotechnical investigations including desktop studies, prefeasibility to detail design investigations and reporting.
Collect and analyse data for project planning and design.
Supervise geotechnical Contractors on site including the appointment of Contractors, managing site operations, payment certificates, quality, health and safety, performance, and project timelines.
Supervise and manage small teams (Technicians, Students, Draughtsmen, Graduates).
Develop increased design ability and quality.
Prepare and deliver technical reports of acceptable technical and presentational quality.
