Purpose of the role
Based in ZSL-Philippines' office, the Safeguarding Officer will play a pivotal role in strengthening safeguarding practice across ZSL's work in the Philippines. The role will combine office-based coordination with regular fieldwork and travel to project sites, ensuring safeguarding commitments are embedded where they matter most.
Working directly under the supervision of the SSEO, the Safeguarding Officer will collaborate closely with the ZSL Philippines ESMS Manager and ZSL UK technical experts. Together, you will drive the development, installation and effective implementation of the Environmental and Social Management System (ESMS), drawing on global expertise while responding to local realities.
