Safety Advisor

About the Role

rcs construction inc. is on the lookout for a Safety Advisor to join our team based in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. This role is a key part of the Safety team, playing a critical role in supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of the Safety First & Always Program, ensuring compliance with Occupational Health and Safety legislation and fostering a proactive safety culture across all active job sites.

How You'll Spend Your Day

• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the Safety First & Always Program across active construction sites
• Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety legislation, regulations, and company policies across all projects
• Conduct site inspections, safety audits, and hazard assessments to identify risks and drive corrective actions
• Lead incident investigations and root-cause analyses, supporting prevention and continuous learning
