Safety Advisor

Our Health, Safety & Environment group is currently growing and is looking to add a Safety Advisor to the team, based in Vaughan, ON.

Reporting to the Safety Supervisor, this position provides support to supervisor, foremen and workers in the field, and provides leadership and coordination of the day-to-day safety requirements of Valard’s construction sites. It monitors, audits and reports findings and corrective actions to leadership, as well as provides support, advice and administrative assistance with matters relating to safety, mentoring and coaching to the supervisors, foreman and workers in the field relating to Health and Safety. Ultimately it plays an important role in ensuring that Valard’s safety culture has been established and adhered to in the field.
