Safety Advisor (WHS)

Six Degrees has been engaged by a global equipment manufacturer to recruit a WHS Advisor for their Kemps Creek distribution site.
The role of the WHS Advisor is to facilitate risk assessments, implement and develop WHS policies and ensure site safety in a warehouse and distribution environment.

The role is a 6-month contract (they are open to candidates who can do either part time and full time hours) with the ideal candidate able to start immediately!

 Responsibilities include: 

Implementation of WHS strategies in a warehousing environment

Experience advising to Site Leadership

Work with WHS team to improve the existing WHS Management System

Develop WHS policies based on risk assessments

 
The ideal candidate will have:

Proven experience in a Safety role - Minimum 2+ years

Working experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is a must

Ability to work autonomously
