Safety and Facilities Coordinator

Our client is looking for a Safety and Facilities coordinator.
The Safety and Facilities Coordinator is responsible for coordinating occupational health and safety compliance and ensuring the effective maintenance, safety, and functionality of company facilities. The role supports a safe working environment by implementing safety systems, coordinating facility services, and ensuring compliance with South African health, safety and environmental legislation.

Duties & Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Occupational Health and Safety (OHS)

• Coordinate and support compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA 85 of 1993) and relevant regulations.
• Conduct regular workplace safety inspections, risk assessments, and hazard identification.
• Assist with the development, implementation, and monitoring of OHS policies, procedures, and safe work practices.
