Safety and Quality Specialist (twelve-month contract)

Ensure the Distribution Centre (DC) complies with and maintains all Workplace Health and Safety (WHS), Quality Management System (QMS/QA), Sustainability, Social Workplace Accountability (SWA) and other tasks as required by legislation and internal policies/procedures.

• Implement the WHS system and assist with the training and implementation of any changes.
• Investigate incidents and near misses in a prompt and thorough manner, ensuring any appropriate corrective actions are taken.
• Ensure incident(s) and investigation documentation is completed accurately and sent to all relevant stakeholders.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation claims and manage employee injury management and rehabilitation. Maintain compliance with provincial and company requirements, ensuring injured workers are complying with suitable duties as determined by the Nominated Treating Doctor (NTD) and are imple...
