Safety Asistant or Coordinator

Job Scope

1. Develop, implement and enforce safety policies and procedures for manufacturing operations
2. Conduct regular safety inspections and identify potential hazards in production areas
3. Monitor compliance with OSHA, local regulations, and industry safety standards
4. Investigate accidents, near misses, and safety incidents, and implement corrective actions
5. Coordinate safety training, emergency drills, and promote safety awareness
6. Maintain safety records and liaise with authorities during audits and inspections

Requirements

1. Completed OSH-C course
2. Minimum 1 year experience in manufacturing or industrial safety
3. Good knowledge of manufacturing hazards (machinery, chemicals, ergonomics, noise, confined spaces)
4. Good communication skills and able to train employees at all levels
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
