Role Overview We are seeking an experienced

Safety Assurance Engineer– Rail & Transit

to lead and deliver safety and risk assurance activities across complex rail and transit projects in Canada and North America.

The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and implementing safety assurance strategies aligned with CENELEC standards and Canadian regulatory frameworks (including CMREA), supporting major rail programmes.

This role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical expertise with the ability to engage clients, regulators, and multidisciplinary project teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead safety assurance activities, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and allocation of safety requirements

Support the development and delivery of safety assurance strategies across rail and transit projects

Produce and/or review safety assurance deliverables, including Safety Plans, Safety Cases, ...
