As a Safety Engineer with the Nidec Aerospace team, you will have the opportunity to apply and develop your expertise to design electric propulsion systems for battery-powered aircraft that will enable the world to sustainably and efficiently get from point A to point B.

Purpose of Role
The Safety Engineer is responsible for ensuring that the Electric Engines are designed according to the safety standards required for aerospace applications. The Safety Engineer will capture the safety requirements, perform safety analysis of the design, and elaborate the documentation to demonstrate the equipment complies with the safety requirements. The safety Engineer will influence the design team (system, motor and electronics) so that the design meet the required safety and reliability requirements.
