Safety & Health Officer (SHO) - CONTRACT BASIS

Job Summary: The Safety & Health Officer (SHO) is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and enforcing all safety and health requirements for the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Bukit Kayu Hitam. The role ensures full compliance with Malaysian statutory regulations, project HSE plans, and client requirements, while promoting a strong safety culture across all project activities including civil, electrical, and commissioning works.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure compliance with OSHA 1994, Factories and Machinery Act 1967, and relevant DOSH regulations.

- Act as the registered Safety & Health Officer (Green Book holder) for the project site.

- Develop, implement, and monitor Project HSE Plan, Emergency Response Plan (ERP), and Safe Work in Method Statements.

- Conduct risk assessments (HIRARC) and ensure control measures are effectively implemented.
