Safety Lead for Agricultural Operations

Become the Safety Lead for DeVry Greenhouses and make a vital difference in health management across operations in BC, Alberta, and Michigan. Champion safety compliance and ensure employee engagement in safety practices.
This role is for a dedicated individual who enjoys being on the ground in operations. You will enhance the Health & Safety program by driving compliance and fostering a culture of safety. Collaborate with team leaders while proactively implementing policies to ensure a safe workplace environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Health & Safety program initiatives and policies
• Support compliance with WorkSafeBC and Alberta OHS standards
• Conduct inspections and manage incident investigations
• Facilitate safety training and promote emergency preparedness
• Engage employees in safety initiatives and committee actions
Requirements:
• 3+ years in Health & Safety roles
• Experience with safety regulations in agriculture
