Safety Manager – US Trucking Experience Required

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Safety Manager to oversee fleet safety and ensure full compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor ELD compliance (HOS, violations, log accuracy)
• Oversee safety for trucks, chassis, and box trucks
• Conduct driver onboarding, training, and safety briefings
• Maintain and audit Driver Qualification Files (DQF)
• Track inspections, maintenance schedules, and repair status
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and violations
• Prepare weekly and monthly safety reports
• Communicate with drivers to correct and prevent safety issues

Additional Responsibilities (higher pay up to $1,500):

• IFTA filings and fuel tax reporting
• Oversize/overweight permits, trip permits, and IRP tasks
• Drug-testing compliance
• HAZMAT compliance
• State-specific regulatory management
