The Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy working environment by

implementing, monitoring, and maintaining safety programs and protocols. This role

involves conducting regular inspections, identifying potential hazards, enforcing

compliance with safety regulations, and promoting a culture of safety within the

organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensures compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Center (OSHC),

Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), National Fire Protection Association

(NFPA), and other local regulatory requirements.

• Possesses a working knowledge of OSHC standards and safety management

principles, with a strong understanding of operational safety and health as it relates

to the assembly and testing of spacecraft and their components.
