Job Description
- Ensure compliance with DOLE-OSH standards and other relevant national and local laws
- Implement company safety policies, procedures, permits, and guidelines specific to refinery operations.
- Conduct Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), risk assessments, safety audits and inspection of plant facilities, pipelines, equipment, storage tanks, etc.
- Identify hazards (chemical, mechanical, environmental, fire, explosion) and propose appropriate controls.
- Prepare and submit incident / accident reports (internal and, if required, to government agencies).
- Assist in preparation, review, and drill execution of emergency response plans (e.g., fire, spill, explosion, evacuation).
- Ensure necessary emergency equipment is available, functioning, and maintained (firefighting, spill kits, alarms).
- Perform regular site walkthroughs / inspections of operations, maintenance works, confined spaces, working at heights, etc.
