Safety Officer

Safety Officer monitors workplace activities to ensure that workers comply with occupational health and safety guidelines, ensure personnel safety, and monitor and/or anticipate hazardous and unsafe conditions.

Qualification:

• 1. Graduate of any four (4) year course or related work experience (minimum of 1 year) may substitute for education.
• With certificate in occupational health and safety trainings (i.e. BOSH, COSH), is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills and decisive.
• Can work under pressure with less supervision.
• Basic knowledge in computer operations in MS Office, particularly on Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Effective communication skills (oral and written), with ability to present and explain health and safety topics.
• Flexible in work schedules. Willing to work longer hours, weekends and holidays whenever mandated by management.
