I. GENERAL PURPOSE

The Safety Officer II is responsible for assisting in the implementation, monitoring, and enforcement of the company's Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) programs to ensure compliance with DOLE regulations and to promote a safe and healthy workplace.

II. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Assist in the implementation of the company's Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Program in accordance with DOLE standards.
2. Conduct regular workplace safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
3. Report unsafe acts and unsafe conditions and recommend corrective actions.
4. Assist in accident and incident investigations and prepare necessary reports.
5. Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by employees.
6. Conduct safety orientations, toolbox meetings, and basic safety trainings.
