Safety officer

Qualifications: • Diploma in a related discipline. • Minimum 10 years of experience in HSE in oil & gas, refineries/petrochemicals. • Qualification certificate attested by MOFA. Responsibilities: • Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations. • Prepare and submit the annual EHS plan of the contractor to the company. • Coordinate with the company's EHS division and electrical maintenance division to enforce the health, safety, and environmental plan. • Ensure compliance with all applicable company SOPs and take a proactive approach to implementing the EHS culture within the staff and workers. • Submit monthly EHS reports to the company's EHS division. • Conduct daily toolbox talks and safety meetings, prepare job safety analysis, and inspect the work site for hazards. • Report and investigate near misses, incidents, and accidents, and take necessary steps to eliminate dangers and recurrence. • Ensure proper waste disposal and environmental compliance, and...
