Safety Officer

Our client has an opportunity available for a Safety Officer.

Requirements:

• Certificated Safety Practitioner and in possession of at least a National Diploma in Safety Management or equivalent.


• 5 years similar work experience within a similar heavy-duty plant and machinery environment.


• Experienced in Safety Management and Accreditation processes.


• Experience in MS Office.


• Above average communications skills with different levels of Management and Employees.


• Work comfortably at heights and walking on gratings several stories high.


• Free of asthma and related illnesses.


• Must be physically fit.

Responsibilities:

• Attend, arrange, plan and maintain regularity of Safety meetings in Maintenance and Operations Departments.
