Job description:

Responsible for overseeing and ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of employees and contractors in the workplace. This includes managing and enforcing safety protocols, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with local, national, and international safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and enforce construction safety policies, procedures, and standards.
• Ensure compliance with local safety regulations, building codes, OSHA/OSHD requirements, and client safety standards.
• Conduct regular site safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Monitor the use of PPE, safe work methods, and adherence to method statements
• Identify construction hazards (excavation, scaffolding, working at heights, confined spaces, cranes/lifting, hot works).
• Recommend corrective/preventive actions and ensure proper follow-up.
