Introduction

A leading engineering and mineral processing services company is seeking an experienced Safety Officer to support health and safety compliance on a large-scale processing plant in Angola. The role is responsible for implementing, monitoring and enforcing safety systems to ensure a safe, compliant and risk-controlled working environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety legislation, standards and site procedures
• Implement and manage safety and risk control programmes across the processing plant
• Conduct regular workplace inspections and audits and take corrective action where required
• Provide safety training, inductions and awareness programmes for employees and contractors
