A large and well established Mining Company based in the KwaZulu-Natal Province, has a challenging opportunity for a Safety Officer – Open Cast. The role will require the individual to deliver qualitative SHERQ advice to line management in accordance with relevant policies, procedures, and legislation. If this sounds like you apply now!

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

•ND or Degree in Safety Management

•Matric (Grade 12)

•5 – 10 years open cast experience

•Mine Environmental Control and Occupational Hygiene Courses advantageous

•COMSOC 1

•Integrated ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2007, OSHAS 18001:2007 Implementation

•SAMTRA
