Safety Officer

Duties and Responsibilities

· Develop, implement, and enforce company safety policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to relevant Philippine OSH standards and regulations.

· Conduct daily/weekly safety inspections, identify hazards (unsafe tools, conditions), monitor housekeeping, and ensure proper barricades and signage are in place.

· Investigate accidents/incidents, determine root causes, report findings, and propose corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

· Ensure appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is available, used correctly, and maintained by all personnel.

· Prepare and submit regular safety reports to management and participate in ESH (Environment, Safety, & Health) committee meetings.

Qualifications:

· Graduate of any bachelor's degree

· Must have a valid COSH SO2 (Construction Occupational Safety and Health for Safety Officer 2)
