Safety Officer

Key Responsibilities:

• Policy & Compliance: Create, implement, and enforce safety rules, ensuring they meet company guidelines and local/national OHS laws.
• Risk Management: Identify hazards through risk assessments and develop strategies to minimize risks and control potential dangers.
• Training & Education: Develop and deliver safety training programs for all employees on safe work practices and emergency procedures.
• Inspections & Audits: Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and observations to check for compliance with standards and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Incident Investigation: Investigate accidents and near-misses to find root causes and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement emergency action plans and procedures.
