Position Summary
As the Safety Officer, you are responsible for implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving occupational health and safety programs within the plant. Your role ensures full compliance with company policies, government regulations, and industry safety standards to maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all employees, contractors, and visitors.
What you'll do
Key responsibilities include: conducting safety inspections and audits, identifying workplace hazards, investigating incidents and near misses, facilitating safety training, and promoting a strong culture of safety awareness across the organization.
