Safety Officer

Responsibilities: To assist the Project Manager in complying with the WSH Acts and Regulation. To conduct periodic safety inspection to verify level of safety compliance so that the safety standards are constantly improved. To ensure site compliance with statutory safety requirements and in-house safety rules and regulations and to report any deviations to the Project Manager for management consideration. To update site management on any new or changes to current statutory safety requirements and also take the necessary actions. To investigate any accident/ dangerous occurrence/ incident and recommend corrective measures to prevent recurrence. To ensure safety documentation is kept current and ready for MOM, NEA or ISO Audit. Be involved in the evaluation of risk assessment and plan, manage and review Management Programmes.
