Safety Relief Engineer

What you will do

If successful, you will be part of the Safety Relief department, ExxonMobil Pressure Relief and Flare Center of Excellence. You will contribute to protecting coworkers, communities and the environment by finding and mitigating overpressure risks in an open, innovative and collaborative environment with high‑quality, capital‑efficient safety relief review analyses.

We are looking for an experienced individual who will play a key role in the technical design decisions we take.

• Conduct relief system analysis including safety relief reviews, flare studies, sustainment and change management activities that include pressure safety valves (PSVs), pressure vacuum valves (PVVs) and blowdown systems
• Participate in global capital project development deliverables with regard to relief system design through various project stages
