Safety Specialist

The Safety Specialist supports Air Canada Rouge’s Safety Management System (SMS) by managing frontline safety reports and ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and effective use of SMS tools (including AQD, ARMS risk methodology, causal analysis tools, etc.). This role requires strong judgment, communication, and operational awareness, with a commitment to SMS principles and safety oversight in an evolving, technology‑enabled environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, review, triage, classify, and risk‑assess safety reports from internal and external sources, determining investigation requirements.
• Communicate with employees to address safety concerns and request additional information when needed.
