Safety Systems Engineer

Job Description:

• Ensuring compliance with international safety standards like IEC 61508 and IEC 61511
• Analyzing customer input documents such as IO lists, logic diagrams, and cause & effect (C&E) diagrams.
• Generating safety logic and developing detailed engineering designs for SIS.
• Ensuring the design meets the required Safety Integrity Levels (SIL) through SIL verification and calculation.
• Preparing comprehensive engineering and project documentation.
• Conducting Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) with customers and end-users.
• Performing SIS safety validation to ensure the system is designed to correct specifications prior to plant implementation.
• Providing support during site pre-commissioning, start-up, and final commissioning activities at the project site.
• Participating in HAZOP and SIL classification workshops to identify potential hazards and determine safety requirements.
